Class announcement - Arts Club of Washington Scholarship Competition in Documentary Filmmaking (2026-27) The Arts Club of Washington (founded 1916) is awarding three monetary scholarships for student documentary filmmaking. This cycle the competition honors cinematography - one of the nine art forms named in the club's founding mission - and the campaign materials carry the cinematography emblem alongside the club's crest. Open to undergraduate and graduate students at accredited DC, Maryland, and Virginia colleges and universities - all majors, community colleges included, no entry fee. Submit a documentary of at least 10 minutes (YouTube link), a short written statement, and one faculty recommendation letter. Entries open October 1, 2026; deadline February 28, 2027.
